Lisa is the proud owner of the award-winning Boonah Health Hub and the newly opened Walloon Health Hub, continuing her mission to make expert, compassionate healthcare more accessible to the community. An accredited Exercise Physiologist, Lisa is highly regarded for her work in managing metabolic and neurological conditions, as well as chronic pain—areas where her expertise and empathy truly shine.
With a strong focus on evidence-based care, Lisa is passionate about helping people live fuller, stronger, and healthier lives. Her commitment to her clients and her community has not gone unnoticed—she is a recipient of the prestigious Health and Wellness Award, recognising her outstanding dedication and lasting impact in the field.
Through her leadership, Lisa has built more than just health hubs—she’s created supportive spaces where people feel inspired, empowered, and truly cared for on their journey to better health.

Lainey
Lainey is the first point of contact for all emails, enquiries, and reception duties at The Boonah Health Hub — and she does it all with warmth and professionalism. Beyond the front desk, she’s a passionate and knowledgeable group fitness instructor, leading a variety of classes including our popular Sculpt+Sweat class and Fusion classes. Lainey also manages our social media, keeping our community engaged and informed, and takes care of most new member inductions and personalised gym program write-ups. Her approachable nature, deep knowledge of exercise, and genuine encouragement make her an invaluable part of the team.

Emily Hoffman is an accredited Exercise Physiologist with a strong passion for helping older adults live healthier, more active lives. With a deep understanding of the body and movement, she specialises in designing safe, effective exercise programs that support healthy ageing, injury prevention, and improved quality of life.
Her background in remedial massage therapy adds an extra layer of expertise to her practice—giving her a detailed knowledge of the muscular system and how to treat and manage musculoskeletal conditions holistically. Whether it’s maintaining mobility, building strength, or recovering from injury, Emily is dedicated to supporting her clients every step of the way.

Brittney is a dedicated Personal Trainer, Pilates, and fitness instructor with a passion for helping others achieve their weight loss goals and embrace healthier lifestyles. With a warm and motivating approach, Brittney empowers her clients to build strength, confidence, and lasting habits—both in and out of the studio.
A true movement enthusiast, Brittney is especially passionate about Pilates and Barre, using these modalities to promote core strength, mobility, and body awareness. Her sessions are known for being energising, fun, and thoughtfully tailored to each individual.

Jo-Anne is deeply passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of older adults, bringing a lifetime of experience to her role. She leads our Keeping Active X-Training classes, creating a welcoming, engaging environment that promotes strength, balance, and confidence. Compassionate, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, Jo-Anne ensures every session is safe, effective, and enjoyable for all fitness levels.

Wendy
Wendy is a dedicated and experienced instructor with a passion for guiding others toward balance, flexibility, and inner calm. As a qualified White Tiger Qi Gong instructor in 5 Element, 8 Trigram, and Dragon Meridian styles, she brings depth and authenticity to her practice.
Blending the flowing, energy-focused movements of Qi Gong with the deep, meditative stretches of Yin Yoga, Wendy creates a peaceful and supportive environment for students of all levels. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and meditation, her classes offer a holistic path to physical vitality and mental clarity.

While much of her work happens behind the scenes, you’ll often spot her at the front desk once or twice a week — always with a smile and ready to help. Her friendly nature, strong attention to detail, and positive energy make her an invaluable part of the team, keeping everything running smoothly for both staff and members.

Kelly plays a key role in maintaining the high standards we pride ourselves on at The Boonah Health Hub. As our dedicated cleaner, she’s on-site every afternoon ensuring the gym floor and shared spaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming. Kelly also steps in to assist with front desk enquiries when needed, always bringing a helpful attitude and attention to detail that our members truly appreciate.

Hayden is a friendly and reliable part of the team, helping out at the gym three days a week. He plays a key role in keeping the space organised, clean, and welcoming for members. From preparing smoothies to maintaining a tidy gym floor, Hayden ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—always with a smile.

Laura
Laura brings a wealth of experience in both Pilates and Yoga, offering a balanced and mindful approach to movement. At the gym, she teaches a selection of Reformer Pilates classes and also offers private one-on-one sessions, tailored to individual needs and goals.
In addition to her work with us, Laura runs a private community practice, where she continues to share her passion for movement, connection, and wellbeing. Her calm, supportive teaching style helps clients build strength, flexibility, and body awareness at their own pace.

Drew brings a diverse skill set to the team, with training in boxing, strength and conditioning, hydrotherapy, and working with people with disabilities. His adaptable approach and supportive style make him a great fit for clients of all abilities, whether you're looking to build strength, improve fitness, or train with confidence in and out of the water.
