Exercise as Medicine - Who we support:
Our Exercise Physiologists work closely with people managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury or looking to improve their overall wellbeing. Every program is evidence-based and built around you, whatever your age or ability.
-
Exercise is one of the most powerful tools for managing blood sugar, weight and energy levels. We’ll build a program that helps you take control of type 2 diabetes and metabolic health, with structured support to keep you on track.
-
Whether you’re recovering from a cardiac event or managing heart disease, we’ll guide you through safe, monitored exercise to strengthen your heart, improve your fitness and build confidence in your body again.
-
Living with ongoing pain can make moving feel daunting. We’ll help you understand your pain, build strength gradually and find movement that helps rather than hurts, for conditions such as back pain, arthritis and joint issues.
-
Get back to work, sport and everyday life with a progressive rehab program. We work alongside your physio, GP or specialist so your recovery is safe, structured and supported every step of the way.
-
Stay strong, steady and independent. Our programs focus on strength, balance and mobility to reduce your risk of falls and keep you doing the things you love.
-
We support people living with neurological conditions and disability to build strength, function and independence, with programs tailored to each person’s abilities and goals.
-
Exercise can play an important role during and after cancer treatment, and in protecting bone health. We’ll design a safe program that supports your treatment, energy levels and quality of life.
